Tumbling Skills to be Worked
Child doesn't need to have all skills listed, but they are skills that should be worked to build up for what is coming in the next level. After each class should have one warm up line drill that covers the previous levels. Example of line drills to get to the next level are after each list.
Tumble 3
- Handstand 2 hops
- Running round-off rebound (rebound must travel up and backwards)
- Flip-flop to flat-belly
*Flip-flop on uneven (only after flat-belly is mastered)
**Standing flp-flop no spot
- Handstand block snap to flip-flop off block
*Round-off off panel mats (or cheese) to flip-flop on 8 incher
**Round-off flip-flop on floor no spot
- Hurdle, forwards handstand block to flat-back on 8 incher
*Front handspring over barrel
All encompassing line drill: Round-off rebound, Handstand block/snap, Standing flip-flop, Standing flip-flop rebound half turn
